When this crazy idea first came up, I thought it would be fun to have some way for others to see what kind progress was being made.  Also, it would be a fun thing for people to see if I was passing through their town.  Working with a shoe string budget, it was challenging to find a suitable GPS trackers or some viable way to track the journey.

Then FollowMee stepped in.  I contacted Chris and they were willing to help us out with this.  Officially, FollowMee is a GPS location tracker.  It trackes things like iOS devices and the like.  All you need to do is go to their website and open an account.  On your iOS (that means your iPhone folks), you can also download the FollowMee app.

They offer cool features like parents car track their errant kids daily movements, employers can track field employees - no more goofing off on th Boss's dime.  Also, if some idiot thief decides that your phone is what they want..... or you were dancing really wild at that concert and the phone fell out, you can locate your phone by logging into your account.

I for one have appreciated working with FollowMee.  I am no whizz kid techie and they have been very responsive to my queries and issues in learning new technology.  I look forward to seeing how this all works on the road.
